Tenaiya BrookfieldLet's kick off 2017 with a great start! We have a whole week of opportunities planned for everyone while in Jakarta. Join us on Sunday for a movie night and regional team dinners, Monday will be a full day of sales blitzing, media table top and press conference, as well as a Gala Dinner with awards to celebrate your 2016 accomplishments. Tuesday will be a full conference day focusing on Driving Revenue through Marketing with special guest speakers. Wednesday is our New Employee Orientation, while Thursday and Friday you may join MG's Table Top.

What Will You Gain?

There are activities planned for both sales leaders and marketing/pr leaders. To get the maximum benefit from all the activities, each hotel should have at least 2 attendees. 1 should be your sales leader and 1 should be your PR/Marketing leader. If your hotel doesn't have either, it is expected the hotel's GM will take their place.

Sales leaders should be taking advantage of the sales blitz while the PR leaders should attend the media table top and press conference celebrating Archipelago International's 20th Anniversary with some special updates. The media table top is called "Around Archipelago in One Day", where we will invite the Media to come and go around from island to island with a special passport, taking photos as they go to visit your hotel.

The conference day is focused on Driving Revenue with Intelligent Marketing. You will be attending a series of Master Classes covering topics such as Travel Micro-moments, Digital Storytelling & Content Trends, Customer Experience, and Photography/Photoshop Tricks. Some classes will be as a large group while others will be breakout sessions for more interactive learning.


Where Will You Stay?

The conference will be held at Aston Simatupang Hotel and Conference - Jakarta
It is mandatory that all attendees stay at Aston Simatupang. No one is allowed to stay at another hotel. The special rate given is 780,000 nett (includes tax/service and breakfast for 2 people). You can split the cost in half ( 390,000 each) and share the room with participant from another sister hotel if you like. To BOOK and process payment for your room, please email directly to . The hotel is conveniently located next to Arkadia Business Park, with easy access to Jakarta Outer Ring Road. With its strategic location, the hotel offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations such as the 15 minutes away to Ragunan Zoo and Pejaten Village Mall, 20 minutes away to Cilandak Town Square, 40 minutes away to Pondok Indah Mall and it only takes 40 minutes away to reach Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport.


What is the Schedule?

Sunday - 12 March 2017, 15:00 - 20:00
It's a Movie Night at Cinema XXI in Pejaten Village! We will be watching one of the latest Movie Blockbusters. Afterwards, we will have a casual dinner separated by Region. The attire tonight will be casual. We will also have a table set up for you to purchase your brand shirt (for those who don't have one) to be used during the sales blitz and table tops the following day.

Monday - 13 March 2017, 08:00 - 20:00
A full day of Sales Blitzing, Media Table Top and Awards Gala Dinner. The attire for the day will be your brand shirt and pin. In the evening, we will have the private Awards Gala Dinner. The attire for the evening will be Cocktail Dress and Suits. The Gala Dinner promises to provide an evening of fun, excitement and entertainment, and will once again see the most deserving of hotels acknowledged for all of their hard work.

Tuesday - 14 March 2017, 08:30 - 18:00
It's a full day of workshops all about Marketing. The attire today will be jeans casual.

(S&M Orientation) Wednesday - 15 March 2017, 09:00 - 17:00
A full day New Employee Orientation for all those new to our team! You will get a chance to meet key team members and get a good foundation of understanding to guide you through to success with your new career with us. The attire for today will be jeans casual.

(MG Table Top) Thursday & Friday- 16-17 March 2017, 09:00 - 17:00
MG Table top and Welcome Dinner. If you wish to attend you need to sign up separately from this conference. Location and details have not yet been announced by MG.


What are the costs?

Archipelago International will cover the meeting and activity cost for 2 people per unit (example: 1 sales person and 1 marketing person). Should a hotel want to send more people, they must pay the extra cost for them and await approval. You can purchase an extra person FULL PASS including all the activities from Sunday-Wednesday for IDR 1,500,000 or an extra person WORKSHOP ONLY PASS including only the workshops on Monday for IDR 500,000.

- Buses to and from Cinema XXI
- Tickets/drinks/popcorn at Cinema XXI
- Sunday welcome dinner
- Monday group sales blitz transportation
- Monday "Around the Archipelago in One Day" media day including coffee breaks and lunch

- Wednesday SM Orientation coffee breaks

Costs Not Included:
- Transportation to/from Jakarta
- Accommodation in Jakarta during the event
- Optional buffet lunch on the 15th will be offered at Aston Simatupang for an additional expense
- Optional themed dinners will be offered at Aston Simatupang for an additional expense each night
- Optional happy hour will be offered at Aston Simatupang for an additional expense each night
- Other leisure activities

Aston Simatupang special price: IDR 780,000 nett per night for 2 people (You share rooms if you like and split the cost in half with IDR 390,000 each persons)

  • Registration will be closed on 26 January 2017 (15.00 WIB)
  • Any registration made between 27 January 2017- 10 February 2017 will be fined a late fee at IDR 750,000 per person and based on availability only
  • Participants must arrive in Jakarta on 12 March 2017 before 13:00 to not be late for the welcome session
  • Schedules on 12 to 14 March are mandatory, while sessions on 15 March are optional
  • Aston Simatupang will send a separate confirmation and invoice to you. Room booking must be confirmed and paid before February 17
  • Please make sure to bring your brand shirt. If you do not have one, please order one in the sign up sheet.
