Le Mayeur Museum

Le Mayeur Museum

Le Mayeur Museum is a memorial museum mainly housing the artworks and personal history of painter Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres—a Brussels-born artist who was impressed by the shores of Sanur and dedicated his entire life there to the two things he loved the most: the arts and women. Before deciding to spend his life in Bali, Le Mayeur had already traveled around the world. Sacrificing his travels to pursue his love of arts, he found himself enamored of the exotic scent of frangipani and a certain bare-breasted Legong danced, his wife and muse, Ni Pollok.

Matahari Terbit Beach

Matahari Terbit Beach is located in the Sanur area. As the name implies, this beach presents the beauty of nature with the rising of the sun. Many people are willing to come from dawn to be able to enjoy the stunning view of the sunrise.

This beach is on one coastline with Sanur Beach, Sindu Beach, and Mertasari Beach. However, unlike other beaches, the sun beach is only containing neatly arranged rocks and made as a barrier on this beach.

This beach is a 15-minute drive from Kamuela Villas & Suites Sanur.
